The Chesapeake Farmers Market begins on June 1 and will run through December 14, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. The farmers offer a variety of items for sale such as vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants, cut flowers, honey, eggs, grass fed beef and pork, free range chickens, jams jellies, pickles and more. Help maintain the mission of supporting direct marketing by local farmers and come out to the Marketplace Shelter at Chesapeake City Park.
