Campus757 is a program of the Hampton Roads Workforce Council.
We inform and guide students with programs and resources to launch their careers, establish a home base in Hampton Roads, and leave a lasting impact in the community. We exist to expand young professionals’ outlook on the 757 and help them make connections to local businesses in pursuit of their dream career in greater Hampton Roads.
We'd really like every college student in the region to understand that we want them to fall in love with where they are. We want them to stay after college and make this their home. We want them to find their place . . . right here in the 757.
Pleasure to meet you! I’m Jaedda Hall, the Campus757 Director at the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. I was born and raised in Norfolk, and I’m a two-time graduate of Norfolk State University. Behold! Since I began my career, it has been my mission to support and encourage students as they pursue their career goals. I truly believe that we should be fulfilled and inspired by our jobs. I also believe it takes time to figure out what your passion is! My team and I enjoy helping students find their purpose in the 757! Your place is HERE!
Hi! I’m Maegan, the Campus757 Program Manager at the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. I was challenged with launching this initiative from concept to reality. With a background in event planning and project management combined with a passion for building our next generation of talent, I knew this was the career adventure I had been hoping for. A true lover of this region, I believe that in the 757, you really can be yourself – while continuing to grow and achieve. Professionally and personally, your place is here!
Greetings, and thank you for visiting Campus757. I’m Whitney, the Sr. Director of Talent for the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. I’m pleased to say that Campus757 was the first true talent initiative launched in this new division of the Council. Prior to my tenure here, I was a longtime HRWC Board member while creating jobs for people with disabilities at VersAbility Resources in Hampton. The 757 has so many assets, both natural and people-driven, and we hope to be the conduit for college students and anyone else to soak them all in for many years to come.
I’m Rikki, the Campus757 Program Coordinator at the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. I initially came on as the Events and Programming Intern; my passion for Campus757 blossomed in that role, and I applied for and accepted this role. I am currently a student at Old Dominion University (Go Monarchs!) to receive my Master of Public Health!
I grew up here in the 757, took a hiatus to Lynchburg, VA for undergrad and studied internationally for a year before heading back to the region. The opportunities in Hampton Roads are endless – you will always have a place here!
I’m Claire and I’m the Campus Relations Intern for Campus757! I am an upperclassman at Old Dominion University studying Nursing. The transition to college can be stressful, especially when thinking about what your next steps are after graduation. I love being a part of Campus757 so that I can help students at different school around the area build a community to help create a multitude of options for their future. As someone who was born and raised in Virginia Beach, I believe that there are endless opportunities for so many different people.
Hello! My name is Kirstin DeCroix and I am the Communication Coordinator. I just recently graduated Old Dominion University where I studied communication and political science. When I graduated, I knew I wanted to do public relations but that I also wanted to be working within the community which is why this position was such a perfect fit for me. Being that I did just recently graduate, I know that it can be hard to find the resources needed to be successful after college and that is why I am so passionate about the work that Campus757 does.
Hi, I’m Halle and I’m the Content Creation Intern at Campus757! I originally moved to Norfolk to attend college at ODU but I’m happy to say the 757 is now a place I call home. I love to write, edit, and create, which is why I am currently working towards a degree in cinema and tv production. The 757 has been a great place for me to explore the area, find the best photo spots, and try new breakfast places. There is something for everyone here and that’s what I love about it the most!
